It is not hyperbole when I tell you that Jimmy Herring one of the greatest guitarists in the world. He and his band (no slouches themselves) return to Chicago to play at the cozy confines of Martyrs of Friday August 31st and we want to send you and a friend there for free.

Love me some Widespread Panic!! I’m looking forward to Friday night’s show, I haven’t seen Jimmy play live since January (in Mexico)!
I saw Jimmy with Warren Haynes in the Dead and they were both stellar!

My favorite Jimmy Herring show is any and all performances with Widespread Panic. I think the Milwaukee shows of late and Halloween show last year in Chicago knocked my socks off!
